James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is a 6.5m space telescope and covers a wide range of wavelength from 0.6 through 28.5 micron. It is, by far, the largest stride in space history in terms of collecting area. This telescope is scheduled to launch in October 2018, and cycle one call for proposal will be announced this summer 2017. We all anticipate to witness the revolution in every aspect of astrophysical studies, including exoplanet, first stars, and first galaxies. As we had experienced with the Hubble Space Telescope, the biggest discoveries would be yet to be listed. Everyone has a chance to participate in this revolution and we would like to discuss what we can do together.
