Implementation of an iterative algorithm is proposed to reconstruct data from limited area measurements in the sky. Cosmology that involves all-sky measurements such as CMB and dynamical fields of large scale structures often employ spherical harmonic analysis. Yet there are restrictions such as the Zone of Avoidance that prevents all-sky measurements of extragalactic objects. Under the assumption of data with a finite degree of spherical harmonic coefficients, the proposed method is able to reconstruct absent data in the sky. An example implementation is shown for density maps of the nearby Universe with data from 2MASS redshift survey.
