"The Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST) is the NASA's future
large space mission, which is scheduled to be launched in 2025.
With its extraordinary survey power by 2.4m aperture and 0.28 square degree FOV, the WFIRST will conduct the study of dark energy, microlensing exoplanet search and GO programs. The high latitude galaxy survey will cover 2000 square degree down to YJH~26.7mag for weak lensing, baryon acoustic oscillations and redshift space distortion. Type Ia supernova survey will also be conducted for the study of dark energy. The microlensing exoplanet program will find about 3000 exoplanets which is sensitive to all the solar system analogs except the mercury and complete the statistical census of planetary systems."
