Abstract:
In this presentation, we are going to introduce the AKARI North Ecliptic Pole (NEP) Survey. From this survey, we have developed an efficient method to select AGNs by SED fitting with mid-infrared (IR) photometry. We found that the previous studies, which are using color-color diagrams for AGN selection, tend to miss the moderately luminous AGNs such as Seyfert 2 type galaxy. Comparing our method with previous studies, we increase the recovering rate of AGN from X-ray detected AGN sample by 20%. In addition, we include our preliminary results of environmental study of galaxy evolution, that is, galaxy cluster candidates.
