Will Donovan

I am a postdoctoral fellow at Kavli IPMU, University of Tokyo, supported by WPI Initiative, MEXT, Japan, and by a JSPS KAKENHI Young Scientist grant. My staff page is here.

Previously I have been a postdoc at the University of Edinburgh, working in the algebra group with Iain Gordon. I completed my doctorate in 2011 at Imperial College London, working in the geometry group under the supervision of Richard Thomas and Ed Segal.


Research

My interests include:
  • algebraic geometry, birational geometry
  • geometric representation theory
  • homological algebra, mirror symmetry
