I am currently a postdoc at the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU) within the University of Tokyo Institutes for Advanced Study.  My research interests are in cosmology and extragalactic astronomy.  In particular, I use gravitational lensing - the deflection of light by massive structures - to study:

  1. the physical properties of galaxies and how they evolve over time

  2. the distribution of dark matter in galaxies and galaxy clusters

  3. the cosmological parameters of our universe
