Comprehensive Bayesian Exploration of Froggatt-Nielsen Mechanism (arXiv:2412.19484)

The Froggatt-Nielsen (FN) mechanism is a flavor model that naturally explains the Yukawa hierarchy and mixing angles by assigning appropriate U(1) charges within the Standard Model. In our study, we employed a Bayesian approach to identify optimal U(1) charge assignments. The scan results provide data on charge configurations with a high Bayes factor, indicating favorable cases.

The following tool visualizes the prior distribution predicted by the FN mechanism alongside actual parameters at high energy scale. Input the appropriate charges and press the "Calculate" button to generate the corresponding plots. Note: We assume normal ordering for the neutrino sector.
