University of Tokyo provide excellent research environment. If you are interested in coming to my laboratory/institute either as a graduate student, there are several possible choices, which I list below.

For Prospective International Graduate Students

Before Writing to Me

I have been receiving many e-mails regarding the possibility of graduate-school admissions. Please make sure to check out the pdf before writing to me, which contains answers to almost all of the questions I receive. For example, many people simply send me their CVs and ask if I can their supervisor, but you need to go through proper admission process of UTokyo to be my student.

I have been receiving too many inquiry e-mails; many of the e-mails are not addressed specifically to myself, and most of them clearly have not read the pdf file above---when I reply most people don't bother to reply and I am not sure if they read my message. For this reason I have decided not to reply to most of the inquiries; if you do not hear from me, please assume that you have received the following message:
