Before Contacting Me

I have been receiving many e-mails regarding the possibility of graduate-school admissions. Please make sure to check out the pdf before contacting me, which contains answers to almost all of the questions I receive. For example, many people simply send me their CVs and ask whether I can be their supervisor, but you need to go through the proper admission process of UTokyo to be my student.

I have been receiving too many inquiry emails; many of the e-mails are not addressed specifically to myself, and most of them clearly have not read the pdf file above---when I reply many people do not reply and I am not sure if they read my message. For this reason I have decided not to reply to most of the inquiries; if you do not hear from me, please assume that you have received the following message:
