Hi! Welcome to my web site. I am Masahito YAMAZAKI, an associate professor of physics at the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU) , the University of Tokyo.
Before coming to Kavli IPMU I was a postdoctoral fellow at Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton University, and Kavli IPMU. As a graduate student I studied at University of Tokyo and California Institute of Technology . Here is my Curriculum Vitae .
Research Area
My research area is theoretical physics, in particular theoretical high energy physics.
I have been working broadly on quantum field theories and on string theory,
sometimes at the interface of neighboring areas such as mathematics, particle phenomenology, cosmology and statistical mechanics.
